T he Clareen Special (23 inches/585mm -19 frets) is an excellent Tenor banjo with a crisp tone. The two piece neck of well selected maple has a contrasting mahogany centre strip for stability and appearance. All the wood is finished in its natural colour as is the resonator and block maple rim.

The fingerboard and peghead are inlaid with simple, but tasteful, Mother of Pearl decorations. The main positions are marked with either a harp or shamrock inlay. The tonering is of brass in an arch head principle.

All metal parts are of brass which have been nickel plated. The hooks are of mild steel which is also nickel plated. The banjo comes complete with geared Schaller tuners, arm-rest. Case extra.

The banjo is available in other woods or special custom designs made to order.
