SKINCARE TIPS

Make your own natural skin toner by adding 30 drops of lavander oil to 100mls of rose water. Shake the mixture well and let stand for 2 weeks before use.

Plain witch hazel makes a good skin cleanser. It is best used on cotton wool, so as to remove any dirt, etc on the skin's surface.

HOMECARE TIPS

Dilute your favourite scented (cruelty-free) moisturiser/body lotion in enough water to still be able to smell it. If non-scented lotion if used then add aromatherapy oil of your choice to the lotion, stirring well before diluting with water. I recommend that you check the uses and effects of the oils used beforehand, as some may not be suitable for people with particular medical conditions, such as epilepsy or low/high blood pressure, as well as pregnant women. The chemist or health store etc where you purchased the oils should be able to advise you on which oils to choose. There are also many books available on this subject. Pour the diluted solution into a clean spray bottle, and use as a room scenter. For example, spray into toilet, onto curtains, onto carpets, etc. Remember not to spray onto delicate fabrics, as this may cause stains. Be careful not to mix with or spray onto chemical solutions such as bleach etc, in case of a harmful chemical reaction.

FOOD TIPS

Make your own rice milk ...... boil a small portion of rice (a little salt is enough), until it is soft/mushy. Add water, mix, and puree in liquidiser. Even a small amount of rice will go a long way. Flavour as you like ...... I suggest cocoa powder!
