The Inner insulation of a TV coax is about 6mm, twice as long as that on a Satellite screw on F-Connector.
Make sure and put the back cover sleeve on before preparing the braid.
Put a kink on the inner conductor to get a better connection .

Note the braid is all tucked inside the "cable clamp" part.
Soldering the inner is better, but tricky.
