| Difficulties had arisen regarding the whereabouts of two
registered letters sent to the European Parliament on December 21st 2001. (Copies of the
two registration receipts can be seen roughly half way down the "Saturnalia" page at this web site). The scanned copy
of the letter below dated February 7th 2002 from the General
Post Office (in Dublin) appears to fully clarify the situation as far as
Post Office delivery dates are concerned: and there now seems to be no doubt that both
letters were delivered to the European Parliament on December 24th 2001. This letter
from the GPO is very much appreciated.
