Her religion was given as Wesleyan Methodist. The Archives searchedquite a bit and found no obit or burial info. The 1891 censusindicated that both her parents were born in Ireland.
"Donald & Rebecca appear on the 1861 census of Wallace Twp. as livingas tenants on land owned by Thomas Reid. This land is about one andone quarter miles north and 2 miles east of the town of Listowel." -from a look-up of the census.
1901 census - gives her age as 74, gives her immigration date as 1834.Born in Ireland.
[1167] This date is from a family bible entry. Her age varies on thecensuses (ie. the 1901 census appears to give her birthdate as 13 Oct1827, indicating she is 74).
[1169] She was mentioned in her brother's 1906 obit., so was still living.

Marriage date from a family bible notation, and also found in the bookMarriage Registers of Simcoe District 1842 - 1857: "Donald Ross ofWest Gwillimbury Twp. married Rebecca Reid of West Gwillimbury Twp. on5 April 1849, by Rev William Fraser (United
Presbyterian Minister). Witnesses: Benjamin K. Jones and MatthewBrandon." No info on their parents.
Benjamin Jones, witness, was apparently a junior pastor with theMethodist Church (Bradford circuit, incl. W. Gwillimbury.)
Matthew Brandon was one of several Brandons listed as pre-1837settlers in West Gwillimbury.
(Side note on Rev. Wm. Fraser: "The Rev. Wm. Fraser, D.D., remainedpastor of the Bond Head congregation until 1879, having served therefor a period of 44 years. The Rev. Wm. Fraser, D.D., was a native ofNova Scotia, and soon after his ordination to the ministry came toUpper Canada and entered upon his life work at Bond Head. While inthis charge, in addition to his regular church work, he took an activepart in educational affairs, some account of which may be gatheredfrom the chapter on schools. He was the first Township Superintendentfor schools in West Gwillimbury in 1844, and indeed the only one tohold that office in the township, having again been appointed on theresumption of Township Superintendents in 1850 and reappointed fortwenty-one years in succession, until the office was finally abolishedand county superintendents appointed. His death occurred at Barrie, onDec. 25, 1892, in his 85th year. Several of his sons have beendistinguished in church and educational work:--Rev. J. B. Fraser,Annan; Rev. R. D. Recorded in St. Peter's Evangelical and Reformed Church from1854-1863:
(from Karen Thompson)
"Johan Nickolas Zurbruck 1 b.7 Mar 1808 in Pfalzweiler
Dept. Niederheim, Frankreich (France)
m. Susanna Dorothea Kientz b.25 Aug 1818 and m. 30 May 1841 "
[1612] Pfalzweyer baptism record date was 6 March 1808.
[1613] In 1850, was "Nicholas Shubrick", living next door to "Sally Shubrick"(Saloma Dieffenbach Zurbrick - widow of Michael). Nicholas was thesame age as "J. Nickolus" as seen on the gravestone in Lancaster Ruralcem. Wife of "Nicholas" was "Susan D.", which seems to be same as S.Dorothea as seen on the gravestone. They were called Nicholas andSusan in the burial records. The ages on gravestones match the censusages. Since he lived next door to the Michael Zurbrick household, Ithink he was a brother to Michael.
