Guidelines provided for Non-Pay funding to Literacy Schemes:

 

  1. A separate bank account is to be opened for ALDF funding.  
    (A current account of the
    type available to a Community Association or Football Club).

  2. Value for money is to be sought in purchasing goods and services and for larger items and orders evidence of this practice is to be retained.

  3. Appropriate taxes are to be paid on all goods and services

  4. Receipts are to be retained for all transactions.

  5. Financial records are to be available for inspection by VEC Finance Staff and C & A.G. staff.

  6. Care is to be taken that double funding of publicly funded premises and services does not occur.

  7. A review of services and their costs is scheduled to be held with each Literacy Scheme each year.
