COURSES FOR ADULTS
Spring 07 and Autumn 07 Terms
GENERAL FRENCH COURSES
These are comprehensive courses for par ticipants to learn the French language through the practice of the four skills: listening, speaking, reading and writing. Par ticular focus is given to developing par ticipants’ oral communication skills, allowing them to handle everyday situations and deal confidently with French speaking people.

REFRESHER COURSE FOR BEGINNERS
Have you forgotten all your French?
This course is designed to help you speak and understand French again. Build up your confidence before starting another course!
- 6-10 students, 1.5 hours twice weekly over 2 weeks, €55
Tuesdays and Thursdays, 12th - 21st September (7.15pm - 8.45pm)
- 8-16 students, 1.5 hours per week over 15 weeks
- €220 or €200 with the Early Booking Discount by Sat. 12th Jan. 08
- Autumn Term: 23rd Sept. 07 - 19th Jan. 08 (Christmas break: 17th Dec. - 7th Jan.). Timetable
- Spring Term: 21st Jan. - 17th May 07 (Easter break: 15-28 March 2008). Timetable
- Offered at a range of 11 different levels from Beginners to Higher Advanced. Please confirm your level with us with a short oral assessment.
Please note, a course book will be required for some of the levels.
From Basics 1 to Elementar y 4: “Café Crème Level 1”
From Intermediate 1 to Higher Intermediate 4: “Studio Level 2”.
They can be purchased in the of fice (€20), if you wish.
ELEMENTARY AND INTERMEDIATE REVISION COURSES
These new courses are designed for students who would like a revision programme before star ting on the next level. Focusing particularly on speaking skills, expanding vocabulary, and grammar revisions, the programmes will help you build your confidence for fur ther study.
Enrol in:
- Elementar y revision before Intermediate levels 1 & 2.
- Intermediate revision before Higher Intermediate levels 3 & 4.
SUMMER 2007 COURSES BEGINNERS COURSE
This course is for rusty or complete beginners and will focus on speaking and understanding French.
- 6-10 students, 18 hours over 12 weeks, 7th June – 23rd Aug. 07, €150
- Thursdays, 7.15pm - 8.45pm
CONVERSATION COURSES
Our 4-week conversation courses are designed for participants who wish to practice their communication skills. They are purely conversational and aim at improving oral fluency.
- 6-10 students, 1.5 hours per week over 4 weeks, €55
- 3 sessions available:
4th – 29th June; 2nd – 27th July; 30th July – 24th Aug.
- 5 levels available every session in the morning or in the evening. Please confirm your level with us with a shor t oral assessment.
