We wish to thank all the members of the Club and our local GAA club who helped us selling the match programmes on Sunday last. All the help we received is very much appreciated by the Handball Board. A special thanks to Breda Riordan who put so much work into organising the day's activities.
The All Ireland semi-finals and finals of Waterford Crystal Irish Nationals took place this weekend
Two Ballymacelligott girls represented Kerry. Maria Daly and Sandy McSwiney played in the semi finals on Saturday 31st March and Maria got through to the final to be defeated by Patricia Doyle of Wicklow 21/8, 16/21, 11/4.. The final was played in Ballymore Eustace, Co. Kildare.
Master "B" Doubles Quarter Final.
On Sunday 1st April Mike Kelly and Partner from Clare defeated the Kerry duo Pat McCarthy (Ballymac) & John O Donnell (Tralee) 21/11, 21/10.
The match was played in Newmarket-on-Fergus Co Clare.

On Sunday 8th April the Juvenile Munster finals take place at a Clare venue. Ballymacelligott has the following players still in contention.

The County Finals of Cumann Na mBunscoil will take place in Tralee sports Complex on Tuesday night next the 3rd April.
