Greetings from Crinken church!

Thank you for visiting our website and we look forward to welcoming you to one of our services soon. At Crinken, we have developed a vision statement that tells you about us.

Our vision is

Under the Lordship of Christ We want to be a church that

Loves,
Engages
and Grows.

Those three words are key for us. We chose them carefully because they represent who we are and what we aspire to become. We want to be a church that Loves- that is so gripped by the love of Christ that we demonstrate that in our own relationships. And so in everything we do, our aim is do it with love.

We want to be a church that Engages with our local community. We are challenged by Jesus words in Matthew 28, when he commissioned his people to make disciples of all nations. As a result we want to be a church that connects with the people who live and work around us, and that shares the good news of Jesus with them. We are excited that Jesus has changed our lives, and we want to share that fantastic experience with others.

And we seek to be a church that Grows. We desire to keep growing in our relationship with God. We hope to grow more and more like Jesus in our character and life. And we eagerly hope that our Father would allow our church to grow because many people come to trust and believe in him, and join us in worshipping him.
Just to let you know a little bit about myself, I am an Australian who moved to Ireland from Sydney to take up the position as Rector of Crinken in May 2005. My father was born in Ireland and emigrated to Australia as a young man. I am married to Jane, and we have three children. Our son Christopher is currently living back in Sydney, and we have two daughters, Georgia and Chloe.

I hope that you will find, as we have done, that Crinken is a great church made up of people who love Jesus and who are very welcoming. No matter where you are in your journey, I hope that you will find a spiritual home here to encourage and nurture your relationship with Jesus.
