RULES FOR ALL COMPETITIONS

BRIGIN GUIDE COMPETITIONS:

Note:

Junior Section Brigin Guide must be under 9 years of age on 31st October 2003

Senior Section Brigin Guides must be 9 - 11 years on 31st October 2003

INDIVIDUAL TROPHY

Date: 1st December 2003

Details

Junior Section and Senior Section.

Companies may enter a maximum of 4 Brigin Guides in each section

Fee: €3 per company fro each section

 

CAMPFIRE

Date: 15th February 2004

Details:

Fee: €3 per entry

 

SONG SCENA

Date: 28th March 2004

Details:

NOTE: No practising to take place in the house on the day of the competition

Fee: €3 per entry

FR. THACKABERRY TROPHY

Date: 2nd March 2004

Subject: Act out a modern version of one of the following Parables

'The Good Samaritan' or 'The Prodigal Son'

Fee: €3 per team

IRISH SPEAKERS

Brigin Guide should be able to hold a conversation with the adjudicator on any one of the following topics

Note: Visit the following places - Dublin Castle, Kilmainham Jail, Trinity College. Look at the surroundings, history, working life etc. Questions will be set on these historical places
