Guides Own Ceremony......to close the celebrations of the 75th Anniversary. This will be held in HQ on February 1st at 3pm
Brigin Valentines Competition......Design a card with a "love" verse on A4 card. Closing date for entries is February 13th. Prizes for under 9's and over 9's.

Adventure Weekend Away........for Ranger Guides and Guides over 14 in Carlingford Adventure Centre Co Louth. Limited to 40 on a first come first served basis.

National Thinking Day Activity.......to be held on February 22nd. No excuses, this National event is being held in Harrington Street. See below for details

Recruitment & Retention...... no longer a problem. The National Development Team has produced a Toolkit and Video to help. The kit is full of ideas, strategies and advice and is available from the National Office. nat.office@girlguidesireland.ie

Company Scrap Books........plot the history of your company/unit. Entries to be in by February 29th. Projects will be displayed at National Council
HQ Evenings..........The Diocesan Commissioner and Secretary are in HQ every second Wednesday evening if you have queries. Ph: 4751774.
Harrington Herald launched...........A brand new newsletter has been launched - full of useful information. If you would like to receive your copy on-line or if you would like to contribute send details to harringtonherald@eircom.net. It will also be available on this website very soon.
Parking..........Please note that pay and display parking is in operation in Harrington Street, Synge Street and surrounding areas. Check the signs for times. Clamping is common!!

When: Sunday February 22nd 10.30am - 4.30pm
Cost :€7 per person if using your won transport, €10 per person if coming by coach. [Coaches will be arranged after booking have been received]

Other information: activities for each section including a Parade of Nations and a giant campfire.
