Back to the high heath, today. And a later trip to the original hedgerow with the local Brownie pack.

 

Numerous Orange Tips - both male and female, 4 Green Hairstreaks (a new record for square C20), and a small brown butterfly - perhaps Small Heath.

Here's a (very bad) picture of the Green Hairstreak butterfly on the Bilberry:

And this is a female Orange-Tip having a rest on the Bramble.

 

This is a better image of the Heath Milkwort - a truly beautiful flower in close-up.
