Kilakee Luggala
Prince Williams Seat J.P.Malone Memorial
Djouce Lough Dan
Crone Wood

This climb is very close to Dublin - the city can be seen in the distance once the summit has been reached. It is called Kilakee and is very popular with Dublin's walkers.

The hill across the lake is called "Luggala" and the lake below is Lough Dan.

This pleasant walk is up through some woods with a good open stretch at the top - unfortunately it is prone to mists, so it is often qute difficult to locate the actual "Prince William's Seat"

This is the famous memorial to J.P.Malone, one of the pioneers of way-marked walking in Ireland. This was reputed to be his favourite walk, and his memorial certainly acts as a good resting place.

Possibly the most popular of all the Wicklow Way sections Djouce, can be climbed from several angles, but whichever route is chosen the view from the top is sensational.

More spectacular scenery - a flat walk, for days when the weather is too cold for hilltops Lough Dan presents a very pleasant walk.
