Past International Lions President (PIP), Bert Mason, at the Howth Sutton Lions Club President Handover Night July 16th 2000. With PIP Bert are newly installed Lion President Tom Keane with his wife Maureen and daughter Sheana.

(Note: Lion Bert was elected the first District Governor (DG) of the island of Ireland when it became a separate Lions District in 1969. Later, he was elected as International President at the International Lions Convention in San Francisco in 1984, the only such honoured ever bestowed on an Irish person. Bert was deceased in July 2007)
