Tours
First year students went on a very enjoyable and informative trip to Newgrange in April 2000 (click here for pictures), while Second Years headed for Delphi, Co. Mayo in June.
Transition Years and Fifth Years travelled further afield to the West of England in May, 2000. While there, they were based in Stratford-on-Avon where they enjoyed a walking tour of Shakespeare's birthplace and visited the properties associated with The Bard. They also enjoyed a visit to the theatre in Stratford to see As You Like It as performed by the Royal Shakespeare Company. The group also travelled to the beautiful town of Bath where they visited the magnificent Roman baths, built around a natural hot spring.
This year's Transition Year and Fifth Year trip is set for the 26th to the 29th April and will visit Holland, Germany and Belgium. Watch this space for photos!
