The Bible: Work of Literature, Product of Cultures January 13th, 20th, 27th, February 3rd, 10th 1999 The word "Bible" means 'a collection of scrolls', and it is, in fact, a diverse and wide-ranging library. Over the centuries of this library's creation, its authors interacted with the varied cultures in which they found themselves.
