On the 1881 Ontario census, a female child (age 6), Minnie MARTIN, wasincluded in their household. The 1881 census also gave Alexander'sparents' names as Margaret Jane Reid and William Ferguson.
1901 Census had Alex in Wallace twp., Perth co., Ontario, age 48
wife "Hanah", b. 9 Nov 1856, age 44
dau Margaret, b. 5 Aug 1884, age 16
laborer G. Miller or Mills b. 7 Dec. 1883, age 17 was also inhousehold.
They lived next door to James Ferguson, brother of Alex.

Edna may have been born as a BENNETT, depending when her mother wasmarried to George Reckord. (Her older sister was apparently daughterof William Bennett.)
1910 Montour Census - Edna Record was age 7, living in dwelling ofWillis Misner & his wife Florence, and in the household of MargaretMiller & her divorced son William Corey; Edna was listed as "ad.daughter".
An adoption paper from Schuyler co., NY county clerk shows that EdnaRECKORD was the legitimate daughter of Edith RECKORD. On 11 Mar 1912,Edna was adopted by Nathan A. LAMBERT & Harriett M. LAMBERT. Edna wasalmost age 9 at the time. Edna and Edith were present in thecourtroom, along with the LAMBERTS. (They were from Burdett, NY.)
The adoption papers seemed to give a birthday for Edna of 1 April1903. There was no birth record for her on that date in the Archivesat Albany, NY, with surname Reckord /Record or Bennett. The closestthing was a Female Bennett born in Geneva, NY on 12 Nov. 1902.
Eddy family reported that Edna was a full sister of Grace. Edna wasliving in NY City in 1927 when her half-sister Minnie went to livewith her for less than a year. (Edna was not married in1927.) In1956 Edna was married to Mr. BRINK & living in Corning, NY, butearlier was said to be living in Watkins, NY.
