[389] He was an undertaker. He was single all his life, and lived with hissister Elizabeth Zurbrick, shown together on the 1910, 1920 and 1930census of Lancaster, NY. Sometimes they had nieces or nephews livingwith them. In 1910 Edwin had John C. Gram living with him(brother-in-law, married to Edwin's sister Anna). John had nooccupation in 1910, so they must have been the ones to form theZurbrick, Knauber & Gram undertakers at 22 Main St., Lancaster, NY.(They had Knaubers as neighbors.) In 1930 Edwin was with the FireApparatus Company. This premises was formerly owned by John Schlegel,father of Wm. J. Schlegel that married Harriet A. Zurbrick. Harrietwas a first cousin, once removed, of Edwin.
