Compaq Senior Interprovincial Report Leinster won the Compaq Senior Interprovincial Title in Galway on the 9th March defeating Ulster 6-2. Leinster's Eoin Byrne, John Bowe. Damien Lynch, Tara Bollard and Brioni Lane proved too strong for Ulster's Daryl Strong, Willie Cherry, Andrew Dennison, Jing Yi and Janna Cairns. Munster finished third with Connacht fourth.

Munster won their third U21 Title in a row with David O'Rourke, Gary Noonan, Paul Twomey, Louise Long and Jemma Mills.

Daryl Strong and Ging Yi Gao remained undefeated to ensure an Ulster senior victory over Munster at the Compaq inter-provincial series, with the Veterans also defeating Munster but the U21 side losing out. Willie Cherry was undoubtedly the hero of the hour in the senior side's 7-3 victory when he defeated Irish No 1 Brian Fitzgerald in five sets and the dogged Ulster performance was typified by another five set success by new cap Yana Cairns over youngster Rachel O'Connor.
