In Early 2000 plans were put in place to
have a new stand built at our football grounds. After a lot of hard work
and even more fundraising the stand is now complete. This stand is a
credit to all that were involved in completing the project. |

The football pitch itself was renovated in the
mid 90,s. Sand was brought in from a local pit to level the playing field
before a new sod was laid. The pitch is now used all year long for playing
and training.

The Hall and clubhouse at our grounds was built in the
late 70's, early 80's.
It boasts a full size basketball court, 5 badminton courts, a large stage,
2 large dressing rooms and numerous small function rooms. The hall is used
every Tuesday for bingo drawing a crowd of 500 plus each week. It is also
used on a daily basis for indoor soccer or basketball training
In the 80's the Hawk's basketball team hosted division 1 games each
weekend in the hall which brought the best teams and exciting games
to town.
