Port Pride Weekend. Saturday
September 27th. Portarlington GAA along with other clubs and
town merchants are partaking in a new venture to promote the
club. With the weather set to be good on the weekend this is
sure to be a great afternoon on Main Street. The promotion
commences at 12pm and runs until 3pm. Come along!
Senior Football: Last weekend saw
Portarlington enter the Kilmacud Crokes annual
Sevens tournament in Dublin. The team of ten
players put in a good display in all their group
games but were unlucky to make it through to the
knock out stages. Of the four teams within the
group, two fought it out to the finals.
New Pitch
The club is pleased to announce that we have
recently paid a deposit for a second football
pitch. This pitch will be a key asset to the
club going forward as we see an ever increasing
amount of juvenile members partake in our club.
In order to fund the purchase of this pitch we
will be approaching every house hold within the
town looking for a financial donation to this
facility. No amount will be refused!
New Field View
Weekly lottery tickets can also be purchased
from any committee member or online at local
lotto.ie.If you are unable to purchase a weekly
lottery ticket in the town or from a comitte mmeber please
play the online game. This way is a great way of supporting
the day to day operating costs of the club.
