Leaving Certificate Applied Programme
The Leaving Cert Applied is a distinct self-contained, two
year Leaving Certificate programme aimed at preparing students for adult
and working life.
It has been introduced to recognise the talents of all students
and provide oppertunities for development in terms of responseability,
self esteem and self knowledge.
It helps students apply what they learn in the real world.
Each year of the programme is divided into two sessions and achievements
are credited in each of the sessions.In the Leaving Cert Applied the course are
offered in three main areas:
A unique feature of the Leaving Certificate Applied is the fact that information technology,
the arts and leisure and recreation are required courses for all students.
