  • Footbridge and Paving

A 'design and construct' project, the upgrading of Rockwood Parade was commissioned by Sligo Corporation.
To complement the footbridge, new railing and pavement was installed along the Garavogue river.
The bridge is now a major access route for pedestrian traffic in the centre of town. The project was commissioned by Sligo Corporation and completed in September 1995.

The bridge has yet to be named; a local newspaper is running a competition to do this.

    Station at Truskmore, County Sligo

The National Broadcasting Company, RTE, commissioned this extension transmitter station to be built at Truskmore.
Rising 2113 feet above sea level, Truskmore in the Ox Mountains is the highest peak in County Sligo.

This specialist project presented many challenges; KBCE collaborated with structural engineers Ove Arup for the construction.

The project was completed in September 1995 at a cost of £240,000.
