Ipswich

I left Newcastle early Sunday morning and took the train down to London.I had to go through London in order to get to Ipswich. In London I made contact with a friend of mine and we arranged to meet in a pub in north London in order to see the Galway-Derry football match.I had to take the tube, bus and walk for the final part of the journey.I found the people of north London to be very friendly and helpful in giving me directions.I finally arrived at the Wheatsheaf pub in Enfield and caught the last 15 minutes of the match-a good win for Galway.

After leaving Enfield I made my way to Ipswich. It was late when I arrived at my B+B and had a quick look around the town before bed.In the morning I explored it a little further.

Ipswich is a relatively swall town in the south-east of England.I found some of the buildings to be very tastefully designed. At the top of the page and just below are a couple of pictures of buildings in Ipswich.

Like Leeds and Newcastle,Ipswich has its own football club and the ground dominates Portman Road not far from the centre of the town.Below is a picture of the ground.

After Ipswich I travelled to Oxford via London.

In the background you can hear a piece by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart-Divertimento in D,K.136 2.Andante.
