Outlook E-mail Basics is a fundamental course for users new to e-mail. Either Outlook E-mail Concepts or Outlook Calendaring may be taken second, although I recommend Outlook E-mail Concepts first. The Journals, Notes and Tasks class may be taken following either of those classes, and the Customization class must be taken last.

Upon completion of this course, the student will be able to:
- Open Outlook
- Reply and forward messages
- Send and receive messages
- Use the Address window
- Format and spellcheck messages
- Open, add and edit contacts
PREREQUISITES: The Essentials course Introduction to Windows or knowledge of file management and mouse skills.
Upon completion of this course, the student will be able to:
- Open and save file attachments
- Create AutoSignatures
- Create and open folders
- Manage messages
- Track messages
- Set Outlook options
PREREQUISITES: The Essentials course Introduction to Windows or knowledge of file management and mouse skills.
Upon completion of this course, the student will be able to:
- Open Outlook Calendar
- Customize Outlook views
- Navigate through the Calendar
- Schedule new appointments
- Edit, move and delete appointments
- Schedule events and meetings
- Set permissions and delegates
- Open other User's Folders
PREREQUISITES: The Essentials course Introduction to Windows or knowledge of file management and mouse skills. We recommend the Outlook E-Mail Basics course or experience with Outlook.

Upon completion of this course, the student will be able to:
- Open and add Journal entries
- Change and delete Journal entries
- Open and create Notes
- Change and delete Notes
- Open and add Tasks
- Sort and delete Tasks
- Assign a Task to another user
- Track Task progress
PREREQUISITES: We recommend the Outlook E-Mail Basics course or the Outlook Calendar course.
Upon completion of this course, the student will be able to:
- Customize the Information Viewer
- Sort information in Inbox
- Work with the Office Assistant
- Create rules with the Rules Wizard
