March 2003 If you like fishing, you'll enjoy these stories. I Went Fishing by Mary One day I went fishing with daddy and Helen. We caught loads of fish. We caught big ones and small ones. We even caught jelly fish and star fish but we put them back in again. Then we caught a big salmon. We caught about five of them. We had a good time. Then Daddy remembered about the Salmon of Knowledge. He said we have to find it, so we fished till it got dark but there was still no sign of the Salmon of Knowledge. Then I said come on dad, its getting dark, lets go home. So we went home. Then next morning we got up early and went fishing again.
The playby Alissa We are doing a play for first and secend class. we are doing the clown who cant smile. I am the clown who cant smile. It is on in Carriglea on Thursday 3rd of April at half seven. Iend up smiling with Tanya. We are singing Zippy-Douda. We throw buckets of glitter at each other. I get sent back to Clown School but I get sent out of Clown School. Tanya is my cousin, and I teach her how to be a clown. I get in trouble with the ringmaster and Mr. Big.
I Went Fishing by Conor One day I went fishing with my dad. We went to the Blackwater in the boat. I had mackarel and worms and maggotss for bait. I caught a 3Ib. perch, a 14Ib. white trout, a 5Ib. brown trout and 20Ib. salmon. My dad caught 14Ib. perch, an 18Ib. white trout, a 19Ib. brown trout and a 50Ib. salmon. I caught the salmon with the maggots and the 50Ib. salmon with a spinner, the 14Ib. perch with a bit of mackrel, the 3Ib. perch with a worm. I caught the5Ib. brown trout with maggotss and the 18Ib white trout with mackrel. And I went home and had dinner. I Went Fishing Bye Laura It was a Saturday and I went fishing to the river. My dad said if you want to catch a fish why don't you make a wish. I am going to wish for a perch. My dad did not know what it was. laughed everyone knows what a perch is. It is a river or a lake fish. We started fishing and I caught a perch! When my dad saw it he wanted to eat it. I said no and I screamed. We brought it home. My brother was crying because he wanted to eat it too. But I was angry so I gave it to the cat. Many Ways To Travel by Heather There are many ways to travel And one that I like Is to zoom down a hill On a mountain bike. There are many ways to travel And another that's nice Is to slide on a sledge On snow and ice. There are many ways to travel And isn t it fun To sail on the sea In the wind and sun. There are many ways to travel But the best by far Is to ride on a rocket To a distant star. I Went Fishing I went fishing in the river on a nice sunny day. It took me ages to cach a fish. But finally I caught a salmon, then I caught a perch and we cooked the perch for dinner. The next day we went fishing again. I caught another salmon and a perch and my sister had a perch and I a salmon and my dad had a salmon too. I went fishing by Jason When I came home from school I asked my dad could I go fishing. He said yes. Then I asked him where will we go fishing. He said we'll go to the Blackwater. When we got there my father asked me if I wanted to go somewhere else. I went Fishing by Kealan I went fishing in the river I was trying to catch a prerch but it is hard I tried and tried but I coulded catch it. You would be famous if you got it. I tried with a rot and net. I went fishing by Elaine Last Saturday I went fishing with my dad. I caught four fish and my dad caught seven fish. It was very very hot so I took off my jumper. Most of the fish we caught were salmon. When we got home we had fish for tea. My dad said that we would go fishing again next Saturday. |
