Welcome back to school.
My
Summer Holidays
I went to 7 places, and Michéal came
to my house. He had a sleepover. I went to Michéal's house and
we played football and darts. We played in his treehouse.
I also cycled to his granny's house. His
granny gave us lots of sweets.

In November
I am going to Disney land, Paris.
I am going with
my Auntie and my cousins.
I am looking
foward to it. I will be gone for three or four days. I will have my own
suitcase and my own Passport.
I can't wait. I
will be tired when I get there. This
is a picture of the Eiffel Tower in Paris.

SHARKS
The shark family includes the world’s
largest and fiercest fish. Many sharks have a wedge-shaped head,
a long body and a triangular back fin that often sticks out of
the water. The eyes of the hammerhead stand at the end of his
flattened head. You can see sharks at an aquarium.

My Garden
|
This is my house and garden. There
are really big beech trees in our garden and one fell down. We have a
big lawn in front and I have a soccer net on it. In our back garden we
have lots of plants and a water fountain and swings and a slide
too.
Joe Keane
made us a bird house and every winter we put seeds and nuts into it for
the birds to eat.

When I went to legoland
When I went to Lego land it was the best day of my life. We did everything we could.
We started off looking at a city made of lego. Then we saw
a dinosaur about 200m high made of lego and a building made as if the
dinosaur knocked it down. Later we went on a roller coaster and a pirate
ship. We also did a driving test where we had to drive around in small
cars. There were traffic lights and signs like on a real road. I was in a
red car. I passed my test and I got my license.
After that we went driving a
boat in a lake. An elephant squirts water at you but I was lucky to escape
that. I was racing my family and I just managed to beat them. Later we did
the Pirate Falls. I went with my uncle and cousin. We had to go down a
very big hill into water, the other two got soaked but I didn’t. After
that we went on a roller coaster to the Dragon's Castle. We took a train
back to the car park and we went home very tired.

Knockmaun
Castle
Knockmaun
Castle is big and round,
And
far from the ground,
It’s
tall and high,
With
the Brickey river running by.
A
long time ago Cromwell fired his shot,
With
a canon ball did he not,
Knockmaun
castle fell down,
As
many people had to frown,
And
that was the end of Knockmaun Castle.

My
Calf
My
calf is 5 months old.
It was born on March 9th.
I bought it from my uncle for one hundred Euro. It is a red herford heifer
calf.
It will be killed 2 years time. It went off the milk when it was 2 months
old.
It will be on the nuts for the rest of Autumn and Winter. It will be going
into the shed soon. There will be 7 other cavles in with her.
It will be going with the older and stronger calves. It shoud be getting
straw around this time.

New South Wales
New
South Wales is the oldest state in Australia.
It is on the east coast and Sydney is the capital and the largest city. It
has 1110 km of coastline from Point Danger in the north to Cape Howe in
the south. To the west there is fertile land and mountains called the
Great Dividing Range. It has a mild climate. Their summers are warm and
with little rainfall. The native people are called Aborigines and there
are about 56,000 living in the state. About a third of Australia’s sheep
are raised in New South Wales. Wheat, bananas, potatoes, sugar
and tobacco are also grown.
Recently
our classroom got key pals from Ingleburn, New South Wales. The school is
called The Holy Family and their playground is joined on to a park called
Koala Park. There are 30 children in their classroom and their teacher is
called Ian Bell.
