Charles married Lucella F. [FOOTE] (1864-1916). They had 2 knownchildren: Leola Meeks Towne (b. 1888--wife of Leo S. Towne) and EdnaMeeks Westlake (b. 1886--wife of Mr. Robert Westlake, buried inMontour Falls Cemetery). Charles B. Meeks lived in Montour Falls, but apparently lived in Elmira (or worked there) c. 1893.
On the 1900 Montour census, Charles Meeks & Lucella and 2 daughterswere living in the same dwelling as Sherman B. Hill (b. Dec 1855) andhis wife Carrie (b. Nov 1857). There must be a relationship there.
In 1920, Charles was a widower, living on L'Hommedieu St. withdaughter Leona & her husband Leo Towne. Charles was a machinist athoist & crane factory (same as Leo Towne); Charles was age 60.
