[505] LDS IGI file and ancestral file says that Emeline LOVERIDGE marriedJerome STONE. This was also the info on file at the New Milford, CTHistorical Society where they noted that Jerome STONE settled nearElmira, NY. So it seems likely that David J. Stone of Dix, Schuylerco., NY and Southport, Chemung co., NY is aka Jerome STONE (since noJerome was ever found in the area.) David J. was probably named afterhis father David, and might have been called by middle name Jeromewhen he was young.
[506] Born after April, 1811.
[507] Aged 78 years.
[2312] Probably married in Connecticut (where the census indicated they wereborn) then migrated to Dix in about 1840. Census indicates that theywere resident in Dix for 15 years in 1855.

[243] Worked as a bookkeeper at a factory, per 1910 census & also on hermarriage record - probably worked at Shepard Niles Crane and Hoistcompany. She was age 20 on census, implying an 1890 birthdate. Shewas 23 at the time of her marriage in April 1912, so she was born in1888/9. She married Leo Towne, a machinist, so they probably met atthe factory. He resided in Newark, NJ at the time of their marriage.Leolah was living in Montour Falls.
[244] Marriage record indicated a birthdate of between April 1888 and April1889.
[2298] Vol. 1, page 85, # 423 at Schuyler courthouse. Rev. S. W. Eatonofficiated. Witnesses were Percy E. Stotenbur & Hazel Hendricks. Leowas a resident of Newark, NJ at the time of the marriage.
