designed to meet the demands of, and ease the demands on, expectant
and new parents. Classes and Visits can be arranged to suit your
plans and can even be brought to you, in the privacy of your own
home, leaving you free to get on with your busy schedule.
'Baby Matters' provides expert assistance and advice in a range of areas relating to Ante Natal and Post Natal care of both you and your infant. We will guide and support you, at every stage, through possibly the most dramatic and exciting experience of your life.Honestly, just how well prepared for this new experience do you really think you are ?

Natal Preparation
Beginning with 'Baby Matters' Pregnancy Labour and Childbirth classes, including practical sessions using Lamaze Relaxation and Breathing Techniques you are given all the skills and information you will need to make this, as much as possible, the experience you want it to be.
On delivery you will quickly realise that your newborn has a number of pressing needs - not least of which is feeding. If you have chosen to breastfeed your child, you will have gone a long way to ensuring a successful outcome by having attended 'Baby Matters' Breastfeeding Preparation Classes. Classes are given by a Midwife / Lactation Consultant (Breastfeeding Specialist) with years of experience in preventing and solving breastfeeding difficulties and who through personal experience realises exactly how important your feelings are to achieving a successful result.
Post Natal Support
Time to return home. For some it may be too soon, for others not soon enough ! Either way, wouldn't you feel more comfortable knowing that you could have the same expert prefessional help you received whilst in hospital delivered to your own doorstep - when you need it most.
Why not take the worry out of bringing baby home with a 'Baby Matters' Home Visit from a qualified midwife. Have baby's weight checked ?, Get practical advice on feeding bottle or breast ?, Bathing ?, Setting up a good sleeping routine ? Anything you need, anything that may be bothering you. You deserve the back up. After all in other countries you would be granted this as of right.With 'Baby Matters' Home Visits you can really feel assured that all is being done to give your child the best possible start to home life.

With that in mind 'Baby Matters' offers a range of classes to equip you for the challanges ahead.These classes which include 'Baby Matters' Emergency First Aid For New Parents, 'Baby Matters' Baby Massage and 'Baby Matters' Sleep Management can be availed of, at our clinic(s) or in your own home, with others or privately if you wish - when you wish .
