“Too often we underestimate the power of a touch, a smile, a kind word, a listening ear, an honest compliment, or the smallest act of caring, all of which have the potential to turn a life around.”

Manorhamilton
Welcome to "Carers Central", as Manorhamilton has been for us in 2007. The town is home to our area's only hospital, largest library, two (two!) petrol stations, a beautiful new play park, and several excellent shops and restaurants, including the Granary, which has kindly hosted our monthly Coffee Mornings. The Bee Park Centre hosts the weekly Farmer's Market, the monthly Car Boot Sale, and supports many groups in the area by providing space, as it did for our AGM in 2006. Besides being centrally located and easy to access by bus and Rural Lift for many residents of north Leitrim and west Cavan, Manorhamilton is also the most populous town. Here you'll find: |
