Five years ago I was elected to South Dublin County Council by the people of Lucan. Since then I have worked tirelessly as your Independent voice on the Council.

• I am the only Non-Party Independent Councillor for this constituency reflecting the issues of concern to our community.
• I have consistently reported back directly to Residents, Residents’ Associations and other Representative Groups.
• I have also liaised directly by telephone, email, correspondence, home visits and by additional regular Email Newsletters on particular important local matters.
• I am the only elected Councillor in Lucan standing for re-election on June 11th 2004.

I am extremely grateful for the support I have received during the last five years and for the many expressions of goodwill I received from Local Residents in the run-up to these Local Elections.
During the course of the forthcoming Local Elections Campaign, I plan to visit your area personally to further discuss issues of concern to you.

Based on my track record and consistent service to our community, I will be requesting Your No. 1 Vote, or next possible preference, on June 11th 2004, which will allow me to continue working full-time on your behalf as your Local Independent Community Councillor.
