Erazed Work

Interests

In my spare time I like to make model ships, tanks and cars

Panther and Tiger division

Coming over the hill

German war machine

The Yankee tank stood no chance against this German division!
Panzer division

I decided to build myself a balsa wood model of the Irish Lights tender Granuaile, it has radio control for steering and motor. This is a first attempt, so for all of you who have spotted defects like the bows are too pointed all I can say is I hope to get it right with the next version.

The Alabama

Above and below is the USS Constitution

HMS Victory

Work was held up for several months because I made a mistake. I wanted to try and make the sails look the same colour they are on the box cover. I used an oil mixture, (paynes grey and titanium white with a touch of prussian blue) the paints I use for my artist work, and this made the sails very brittle. This or the Sansador oil thinner. I wrote to Heller and explained my mistake to them and they very kindly provided me with a new set of sails. I thought this was very kind and generous of them. I have some rigging to complete and the gun covers, then the model should be about ready.

Spanish Galleon

The Lamborghini Countach

I daydreamed as a child to owning one of these and then as an adult all the things wrong with the car were explained to me, like not being able to see back, the windows don't open properly and it is nigh impossible to park due to restrictive viewing. Ah shit, what the hell it is still a fab looking car
