Texaco Art Competition

Congratulations to Ms Kim Jennings in 6th Class who received a Certificate of Commendation for her artwork in the Texaco Children's Art Competition 2006. There were over 30,000 entries so receiving a Commendation is quite an honour, well done Kim!

School Bags

If and when you are purchasing a new schoolbag for your child - please do not buy the bags on wheels. We have found them extremely dangerous when the children are lining up to go home as the children are inclined to trip over the wheels.

National Council for Curriculum and Assessment

The NCCA posted copies to the school of a DVD on the What, Why and How of Children's Learning in Primary School. The DVD supplies parents with detailed information about the Primary School Curriculum. Every parent should have received their copy of the DVD, if not, please contact the school office.

Sixth Class

We wish the pupils of Sixth Class every success as they leave us to take their places in Secondary School in September. Believe it or not, we grow very fond of our charges over the years. This is a big step for them as they move to Secondary School. We hope they will visit us from time to time.
