In this year of more stringent economic conditions, more and more will need our help. Corporate funding as well as local people support and donations are important to the lifeblood of the Club.

During that time it has shared over €2,500,000 in finance and kind with those in need.  During the past year some €66,000 in monies and over 200 food hampers were distributed to a broad range of worthy causes in the area. See for example,an account of the recent Lions support given the Darndale/Belcamp New Life Centre.

I am honoured to lead Howth Sutton Lions Club as its President for the current year.  Howth Sutton Lions has served the local and wider communities in many practical ways over the past 39 years.

Table Quiz night on November 20th was a great success. It raised some €6,500 for Lions Charities. Once again, thank you to all our sponsors and supporters.
