Iran - Large
The large images can be browsed below. You may switch to another photo viewing method by choosing one of the icons above. Or you can select the images of another country from the list, also above.

The Arg-e-Bam, an excellent fort in Bam.

Emam Khomeini square, the world's second largest (which one is the largest?), is at the center of the great city of Esfahan.

Iran has more liberal policies as far as women go than most of its Moslem neighbours but it is strict on dress. I bet these three feel nice and cosy in the middle of the summer in the desert, oh yah!

Soon after the Ayatollah Khomeini took over Iran the street behind the British Embassy was renamed to 'Bobby Sands St.' after a famous I.R.A. convict that was elected to the British Parliament while on hunger strike, shortly before he died.

A 9 storey painting of the American flag in Tehran. Instead of stars there are skulls, the stripes form the smoke trails of falling bombs and the Farsi below reads 'Marg Bar Amrika' (death to America)! A fairly direct statement I would say.
