New Zealand - Large
The large images can be browsed below. You may switch to another photo viewing method by choosing one of the icons above. Or you can select the images of another country from the list, also above.

A beautiful shot of the lake by Queenstown, south island. You can see here why the Maoris called New Zealand 'Aotearoa', Land of the Long White Cloud!

An autumn scene in a park.

The moment after taking my leave of the Pipeline bungy jump platform, 340ft above the river below.

A few seconds later I am but a speck. You can see the boat below that I was then lowered onto and detached from the bungy. Stats - 4 seconds to end of rope, 2.8 g's pulled, 75mph reached.

Some glaciers in New Zealand come down nearly to sea level and it's quite easy to go walking on them with a proper guide and equipment.

Punakaiki pancake rocks, unusual geometrically patterned rock formation on the south island west coast.

This is taken from my tandem skydive from 9,000ft above Taupo, north island.

I'm almost to the top of Mt. Ngauruhoe, a volcano in Tongariro National Park.

Another shot in Tongariro NP with Bart, my companion for the whole of the New Zealand trip. The mountain in the background, Ruapehu, has erupted twice since this picture was taken.

Volcanic lakes are often vividly coloured, like these green lakes. A person can be seen just above the second lake.
