Opening Prayer at Meetings
As members of the Pioneer Association we are gathered here together in the
name of Our Lord Jesus Christ, and we believe that he is present among us. Let
us now join together in dedicating ourselves to his Sacred Heart. Lord, Jesus
Christ, You came to show us your Father's love, and to do his will. You gave
Him Glory by Your Life, and by yielding up that Life upon the Cross. With You
we offer our lives to Praise and Thank Him from our hearts. All for thee, O
Sacred Heart of Jesus. All for Thee. Amen
Heroic Offering
For Thy greater
glory and consolation, O Sacred Heart of Jesus, for thy sake to give good
example, to practise self denial, to make reparation to thee for the sins of
intemperance, and for the conversion of excessive drinkers, I will abstain for
life from all intoxicating drinks.
Concluding Prayer for Meetings
Almighty God and Father we Glory in the Sacred Heart of
Jesus, your Beloved Son, as we call to mind the great things his love has done for
us. Fill us with the grace that flows in abundance from the Heart of Jesus, the
source of Heaven's gifts. Bless our homes and our families and all our
undertakings. We make this prayer through Christ Our Lord, Amen. Most Sacred
Heart of Jesus, I place all my Trust in you.
LOUGH DERG PILGRIMAGE
The annual PTAA pilgrimage to Lough Derg takes place on Sat. Sept 4th.
KNOCK MINI – VIGIL
The annual
MASS FOR SOULS
The annual Mass for deceased Pioneers and friends will be held in The Parish Centre, Tuam on Wed. Nov 10th
at 8.00 pm.
ADVENT REFLECTION
The Advent reflection will be held this year in The Parish Centre, Tuam
on Wed. Dec. 8th from 8.00 pm to 9.00 pm. It will be conducted by our Spiritual
Director, Fr. Sean Cunningham . It is always a very reflective, prayerful night
and the perfect start to the Christmas season.
TEMPERANCE MASS
Our annual Temperance Mass will be celebrated by Fr. Sean Cunningham on
Wed. Mar. 2nd at 8.30 pm in The Parish Centre, Tuam. All are invited.
KNOCK PILGRIMAGE
Annual pilgrimage to Knock to be held on July 17th.
Annual Lourdes pilgrimage to take place from July 21st – 26th.
