Childcare Services

Sligo Family Support Ltd. provides a quality community based childcare facility, which promotes the development of young children and welfare of adults. We provide childcare for parents who take part in our educational, parenting and personal development programmes and for those parents who wish to take time out for themselves.

Our staff model good childcare practice and provide an environment within which the parent is able to acquire the skills and knowledge needed to foster the child's development. A stimulating environment is provided with opportunities for children to explore, question and play. A graded age appropriate curriculum of activities has been developed based on the developmental needs of the child during the early years of life which enables the child to play constructively.

Seventy children now participate in our daily programmes which include full day care, sessional care, and pre-school and after school.
