Ah, winter break. I am now on a break from college until early September, and, as I'm not going anywhere over the holidays, I will have time to loaf and possibly improve my drawing.

Just the minor hurdle of having two exams next week.

I also recieved some constructive criticism this week, and have tried to improve a bit - its semi-noticable, the 3 last panels are slightly different in style to the first.

Other minor things to report. I saw my first full anime film this week. First 3 actually, all in one go. Ghost in the Shell, Nausicaa of the Valley of Wind, and most of Princess Mononoke. My friend came back from England with a load of downloaded films, and his brother had a big pile of bootleg Studio Ghibu stuff. I was also lent the four volumes of the Nausicaa of the Valley of Wind graphic novel, on which the film is based, which are COOL. I used some of the styles from those novels to try and improve my own.

Today's featured song is Hold Me, Thrill Me, Kiss Me, Kill Me by U2, the theme from Batman Forever. This song defies description in its coolness. Classical instruments, guitar riffs, everything. Its all good.
