In our school we have many different sports, here are the sports we play. We play Hurling, Gaelic football, Olympic handball,Chess, Athletics, Gymnastics
and Camogie.We play hurling and Camogie
on Thursdays from 3.00 untill 4.00.It is taught by Mr. Keane.We play Gaelic
football on Mondays during school on Thursdays and it is taught by Mr. Coleman. We
play Olympic Handball on Wednesdays from 3.00 untill 4.00 and
it is taught by Mr. Kavanagh. We play Athletics on Wednesdays from 2.30 untill 3.30and it is taught by Mr. Tierney. We do Gymnastics on Thursdays from 2.30 until 3.30 and it is taught by Ms. Mary Wyer.We play a lot of matches against other schools. Ann Cameron does Irish Dancing on Friday in the school hall. Alison Meagher holds speech and drama on Tuesday. Children from 1st to 4th classes go swimming to Leisureland every Friday with the assistance of Ms. O Loughlin, Ms. Farrelly, other teachers and parents. When we play them we play them during school time. If we win we get off homework. It is great fun. The school hurling,camogie and football competions will begin again in April 2002.We will be playing Mervue,Menlo, Renmore and Spiddal. 5th Class
