In 1900, Jay and Emma were married 1 year and living with Jay'sparents in Montour township.
Jay B. STONE married EMMA ROCKWELL. Apparently had no children. In1914 farm directory, Jay B. & Emma were farming 56 acres in Millport. The mention of a "Jacob" Stone in the same directory (as "father" ofSarah Isabel Stone) makes one wonder if Jay = Jacob.

A destructive Storm
Monday evening at six o’clock the worst hail storm that ever visitedthis section passed over Catharine valley about three miles south ofMontour Falls and wrought destruction to all crops that lay in itspath.
Hail fell to the depth of several inches, making a mass of ice thatdid not melt away until Tuesday afternoon. Benj. McClernan a farmerof southern Montour brought a stalk of rhubarb to this office whichwas pounded almost to ta pulp by the hail, his corn was stripped ofits leaves and oats and other crops were laid low and will result in atotal loss. Farmers living in western and southern Schuyler whosecrops are wholly or partly ruined are: Frank Frost, George Ely, FrankGanung, Leo Burris, John and Floyd Roloson, Benj. McClernan, EdwardDoolittle, Jay Stone, George Frost, C L Frost, Mrs. Mary T Couch,Ralph Beardsley.
In 1930 they were on "Fitzpatrick or Middle Road" - Jay was livingwith his wife Emma (Rockwell) and his aunt Sarah I. Stone.
