Fight |
Fighting
is a one of main things, what you can do in MU. Player have to fight
with monsters to get better armors, and weapons. Fighting is easy
- get out of town or other safe area and cklick on monster. Your character
will automatically fight and kill monster. Easy? Its quite easy.
Characters in Mu can use skills or spells. To use them, right click
on the monster. And thats all about fighting, if you dont want to
kill other players, but you will learn about it later. |
Tactic |
It is different to all
characters and it depends on defense points. DK can easilly fight
in Lorencia with defense about 150 points, for Elite Yeti -290, mutants
in Tarkan 490, phoenix - 1200 (unavailable without level reset)
Wizard and elf (don't match agility elf or hybrid elf) are fighting
from distance. When i played wizard, i felt safe in Lorencia with
defense under 50, but with energy points greather than 200. Why? Because
lightning spell can keep monster on distance and it can't come near
mage, but if it reach you, there is always scroll of town portal.
The tactic of elf is the same, but she have her auras and summons.
If her auras gives her protection and her summon can kill monsters,
she can feel safe.
Some advice - better kill more weaker monsters than one or two stronger.
calculate your exp to zen and you will see difference. Pressing Q
button every second and going continousy to town to buy some potion
has no sense if you can do the same exp with lesser costs.
Searching for good items where monsters kicks your ass has no sense,
because after a long battle with monster you will receive small amount
of cash or weak item.
Battle tactic for DK, BK, MG is simple - damage monster as much as
you can, using your weapon.
Mage and elf must watch out and fight more carefully. Now you understand,
why i always typed, that those characters are support for DK and BK.
MG don't need support :P.
In this article i wrote, that Phoenix of Darkness is about 1200 def.
There is no character that can reach it before 1st level reset,
but with good party you can defeat everything. Party with 2-3 DK,
elfs and mages is clearing the whole land without problem. |
Dark side of the game |
I don't like it, and
i name it the dark side of the game. Player Killing (PK). It had really
showed on iceemu. It was caused probably by players from singapour.
There was small ammount of players who i killed, but it is not important.
To attack other player press Ctrl+click. If you kill him, your nick
colour will change to orange. If we attack player, the self defense
of that player will be activated. If person you attacked will send
you to town, his nick colour will not change. He killed you in self
defense and there is no punishment for it. So, if other player asks
you for "testing his armor" don't attack him, or you will
land in town.
As much as nick is darker the chance for loosing items is increases
by 2%. It is theoretically, practically player killer with dark red
nick have about 100% chance to loose items.
Recapitulation...
There are 3 classes of PK and characteristic signs of it:
Orange nick - player, who killed one person. Drop rate decreased by
50%, this status disappears after 3 hours
Red nick - player, who killed 2 persons, Drop rate decreased by 75%,
this status disappears after 6 hours.
Dark red nick - player, who killed 3 persons, drop rate decreased
by 100%, this status disappears after 9 hours, he can't buy and sell
things in shops, other players can freely hunt him, he can't use teleport.
Hero status
You will receive it if you kill 3 killers with dark red nick. It only
gives you a nice colour. There are no better drops. Don't buy hero
status. If you are hero and monster kills you, you will not drop any
items. This status will disappear after 1 hour
One more advice- when you are PK you can decrease waiting time by
killing monsters. How much for one mob? I don't know. I heard rumors,
that for e-yeti are 39 seconds and budge dragon 4 secounds. How much
truth in it? |
