Indian Head MassageIndia's most popular massage. Indian head massage is a relaxing therapy involving massage of the upper back, shoulders, neck, head and face. It purports to provide relief from aches and pains and stress symptoms, promote hair growth, soothe, comfort and rebalance skin and provide a sense of deep calmness and tranquility. Indian head massage is based on the ancient Ayurvedic healing system, practiced in India for over a thousand years. Head massage is a familiar part of life in India and Narendra Mehta, blind from infancy, grew up experiencing the benefits of this tradition. An osteopath and massage therapist, he developed a unique system of massage he calls "champissage" (from the Indian word "champi" meaning head massage) and has founded and runs the London Centre of Indian Champissage. |

Infant MassageInfant or Baby Massage is a gentle loving touch, providing tactile stimulation through which the infant learns that he/she is loved. Touch is as important as food to a baby's development. Parents massage their babies whilst being guided through a step by step routine, which uses a careful balanced combination of Swedish, Indian and Reflexology techniques. Infant Massage is something that every parent can learn and practice, providing benefits to both babies and parents. |

Insight Bodywork ™Insight Bodywork™, developed by Barry Kapke, is a floor-based energy work that seamlessly integrates massage, movement and meditation. Earthy, gentle and spontaneous, its integrative approach to somatic exploration and discovery facilitates energetic balance and flow, brings awareness to embodied experience, and supports the body to find greater ease and ability. Insight Bodywork utilizes acupressure and myofascial techniques, giving maximum support to the body while mobilizing joints, moving into slow deep stretches, integrating with soothing brushes and holds, and, when appropriate, energizing through shaking, rocking, swinging, or dropping. It is a work that is both playful and sacred in its approach to the body. The Bodhiwork Institute in Northern California is the world training center for Insight Bodywork. Private sessions are available as well as instruction.

Jin Shen DoJin Shen Do is a unique synthesis of traditional Japanese acupressure technique, classical Chinese acupuncture theory, Taoist philosophy and breathing methods, and western psychological theories including Reichian segmental theory. Jin Shin Do, developed by Iona Marsaa Teeguarden during nearly two decades (1970-1991) of professional therapeutic study and work throughout North America, Europe and Japan, uses firm finger pressure at acupuncture points to induce muscular and emotional release. During a Jin Shin Do session, the client lies fully clothed on a treatment table as pairs of acu-points are held. As tensions are released, the body is able to rebalance and function more fully.
