Visceral Manipulation

Our body is in a constant state of motion from the cardiac and breathing cycles to the Craniosacral rhythm and even minute cellular pulsations.

Jean Pierre Barral discovered that organs are also in constant motion, moving forward and away from the midline of the body at a rate of 7-8 cycles per minute.

Harmony and health exist when motion between the organs and their connective tissues is free and open. Restriction can occur due to surgery and scar formation, stress and trauma.

Visceral Manipulation uses very specific soft manual forces to encourage normal mobility, tone and motion of the internal organs and their connective tissues.
