his three weeks teaching practice in September. Also thank you to

Healthy Eating

At our school we like to promote healthy eating as
part of an overall healthy lifestyle. Therefore we would encourage
parents and pupils to consider healthy options when preparing school
lunches. This would include lunches that:
- are high in fibre, low in fat, low in sugar and low in salt.
- provide a variety of foods from the food pyramid.
- do not contribute to tooth or bone decay.
- help reduce litter in the school grounds.

Food not recommended:
- sweets and bars.
- fizzy drinks.
- crisps.
Suggestions for Healthy Lunches:
- sandwich, roll, bread or crackers.
- milk, water or fruit juice.
- scones, plain buns or brack.
- yogurt, fromage frais or yogurt drinks.
- fruit and vegetables.
Remember what our children eat now will affect their
future. Let's play our part!
