QUINTA DE LA ROSA TINTO - Douro The Bergqvist family have been shipping port since 1815. Their property, Quinta de la Rosa, is a single Quinta property located in the Douro valley near Pinhao. Awarded the prestigious Fortified Wine Producer of the Year award at the 1995 International Wine Challange, they have also pioneered the production of red wines made in consultation with the acclaimed Australian winemaker, David Baverstock. The wines are full spicy cherry and red berry fruit aromas with some chocolate and oak complexity.
