Objectives of Human Resource Department

Masterchefs Human Resource Director employs a team dedicated to:

Ensuring all Masterchefs events are staffed to the highest standards. Masterchefs employ a full-time team of 50 employees at our headquarters in Chapelizod. Our full time management teams have unique experience of events at Irelands premier conference, banqueting and sporting locations.

Masterchefs hold a computerised database with over 1000 catering personnel on file. With such a large number of candidates to draw from, Masterchefs are in a position to provide the client with the calibre and volume of staff required.

Our role in relation to the Event brief is to ensure that:

  • All areas are adequately staffed and supervised.
  • All personnel are fully uniformed.
  • All personnel details are correct to ensure prompt wage payment.
  • All personnel receive their due rest breaks, and meal breaks.
  • Masterchefs training is implemented.
  • There is an on-site point of contact for personnel.
  • Accidents and emergencies are dealt with immediately.

Human Resource Welfare & Management Techniques

Ensuring the welfare of all Masterchefs personnel. Our role is to combine best practise HR management techniques with experience of the catering industry, to include:

  • Personnel undergoing a full Masterchefs Induction Programme
  • Provision of a Masterchefs Employee Handbook per employee
  • Ongoing Coaching and Monitoring of employees performance
  • Ongoing Training Opportunities and Training Programmes per employee
  • Staff forum for employer/employee discussion of issues
  • Incentive schemes for both full-time and part-time staff
