It seems the stars were not with the band in the past month. The Stevo Heroe deal was canecelled at the last minute, after a nearby airfield filed complaints that the noise coming from the rehearsal facility was interfering with the sonar in the airplanes. The band apologised and moved back to their rented space in Dublin city centre. Said Paul, "Damn." The authorities in question made no comment Fashionwise, Adamo de Murée was sacked from his self-founded world class fashion operative, and subsequently dumped by Jon. A short back and sides can now be seen gracing the drummer's head. 25th January 2000 After recuperating after the ubiquitous flu viri, some clearing of throats, and growing of hair* later, the band are looking to return to the rehearsal room to try to accomplish that oh so difficult task that every band strives for - to sound someway decent live. Band manager Stevo Heroe commented "Yes, we're in negotiations with authorities with whom I am familiar in a certain Dublin suburb, which for reasons of security and privacy I can't mention at this time. All I can say is that the band will be supplied with a top clas rehearsal facility which I am arranging for them. With conditions like these, they'll surely thrive, and make some fine progress" Can we wait?? *In a statement made by Jon Leech's fashion designer, the drummer is looking for a new image, and we may be seeing the last of his short shaved back and sides for quite a while. The executive frenchman Adamo De Murée stated "Yee-es, ve zink zat Jon would zuit 'iz rock imAge a lot more wiz what we call ze 'Rasta.' I am ov ze opinion zat wiz a bit of length and a leetle genius from myself, we could create a stlye to bowl over ze best." Hard to imagine, but very true. Commented Jon himself "Yeah, man." |
