In November-December 2003, we started our Energy Evaluation. The evaluation was to find the most energy efficient class in the school and hopefully make the school a little bit more aware and save more energy. All classes would start with 100 points and for every time they waste energy they lose points.
10 points for leaving the classroom lights on,
5 points for leaving the tap running and 5 for leaving the bathroom lights on.
At the end of the fortnight you will receive a grade from A to G, with A being the highest and G being the lowest. After every fortnight you would start again with another 100 points. After 6 weeks all the points would be added up and the class would the highest points would win. After 6 weeks we added up all the scores and would find our winner. At the end there were 3 classes level at first place. We used a tie breaker question to separate them.
Our winner was 4th Class, with Junior Infants 2nd and 5th Class  were  3rd.
